About This Bottle
Blanton’s Gold Edition is a single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. It uses the same recipe as Blanton’s Original, but it is bottled at 103 proof, 10 points higher, for a richer and more intense pour. Gold was the second Blanton’s ever created, after the Original. For years it was sold only overseas, until Buffalo Trace brought it to the US in 2020 as a limited annual release in response to fan demand. Each bottle comes from a single barrel aged between six and eight years.

Blanton’s traces its roots to Colonel Albert B. Blanton, who would hand pick “honey barrels” from the center of Warehouse H to share with guests. In 1984, Master Distiller Elmer T. Lee turned that tradition into the world’s first single barrel bourbon. The Gold Edition is topped with a gold colored horse and jockey stopper. There are eight stopper designs, each with a letter, and collectors save them to spell out B-L-A-N-T-O-N-S.

Orders placed Monday through Thursday are processed and ship within 3–5 business days. Orders placed Friday through Sunday are processed the following Monday. We ship from Coronado, CA via UPS, and tracking is emailed as soon as your order leaves.

Do I have to sign for delivery?
Yes. An adult 21 or older with valid government-issued ID must be present to sign. UPS will not leave alcohol unattended.
What happens if I miss the delivery?
UPS attempts delivery up to three times. If all three attempts fail, the package is returned to us and re-shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
How is the bottle packed?
Wrapped, braced, and boxed in molded inserts built for glass — the same packing whether it is a $35 bottle or a $2,000 one.
Can I return it?
All sales are final. Alcohol is a consumable product, so we cannot accept returns based on taste preference. If a bottle arrives broken or we ship the wrong item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we will replace or refund it at no cost.
What if my order is lost or damaged in transit?
Contact us within 48 hours at support@estatesliquor.com with your order number and photos. Adding shipping protection at checkout covers loss, damage, and theft, and lets us resolve it immediately rather than waiting on a UPS claim.
Can I cancel an order?
Email support@estatesliquor.com immediately and we will try to stop it before it ships. If the order has already been processed, a 10% restocking fee applies.
