About This Bottle
Angel's Envy Cellar Collection Vol. 5 is the fifth annual release in the brand's limited-edition Cellar Collection series, a debut expression from Master Distiller Owen Martin following prior years' finishes in sherry, port, Madeira, and ice cider casks. Inspired by tequila's distinct production process, Martin sought out an exceedingly rare barrel type: French oak Extra Anejo tequila barrels from Hacienda Patron in Jalisco, Mexico, which had held agave distillate for a full four years, a hybrid construction combining French oak heads with American oak staves never before used in Angel's Envy's whiskey program.
