The Balvenie PortWood 21 Year Old is a marriage of rare Balvenie whisky matured over two decades in traditional American oak casks, then transferred to aged port pipes for an additional finishing period. The distillery's Malt Master samples the whisky repeatedly throughout finishing to ensure it absorbs just the right amount of Port wine character before bottling. Crafted at Balvenie's Speyside distillery, which still operates its own floor maltings, grows some of its own barley, and runs an on-site cooperage, this expression reflects the honeyed, nutty house style Balvenie is known for.
Bottled at 43% ABV for the US market, the nose brings deep, rich aromas of red grapes, honey, layered oak, and slight nuttiness, with hints of clove and orange peel. Orders placed Monday through Thursday are processed and ship within 3–5 business days. Orders placed Friday through Sunday are processed the following Monday. We ship from Coronado, CA via UPS, and tracking is emailed as soon as your order leaves.

Do I have to sign for delivery?
Yes. An adult 21 or older with valid government-issued ID must be present to sign. UPS will not leave alcohol unattended.
What happens if I miss the delivery?
UPS attempts delivery up to three times. If all three attempts fail, the package is returned to us and re-shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
How is the bottle packed?

Can I return it?
All sales are final. Alcohol is a consumable product, so we cannot accept returns based on taste preference. If a bottle arrives broken or we ship the wrong item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we will replace or refund it at no cost.
What if my order is lost or damaged in transit?
Contact us within 48 hours at support@estatesliquor.com with your order number and photos. Adding shipping protection at checkout covers loss, damage, and theft, and lets us resolve it immediately rather than waiting on a UPS claim.
Can I cancel an order?
Email support@estatesliquor.com immediately and we will try to stop it before it ships. If the order has already been processed, a 10% restocking fee applies.
