About This Bottle
Buffalo Trace is the flagship bourbon of Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, the oldest continuously operating distillery in America, with whiskey made on the same site since 1775. Made from the distillery's low rye Mash Bill #1, the same recipe behind Eagle Rare and Stagg, this bourbon ages roughly 8 to 10 years in new charred oak barrels within century old, climate controlled warehouses, a practice Buffalo Trace pioneered in 1886 as the first American distillery to install steam heating in its storage warehouses.
Bottled at 90 proof, the nose brings vanilla, brown sugar, toasted oak, mint, and molasses with a hint of dark fruit. The palate is smooth and full bodied, delivering caramel, toffee, candied fruit, baking spice, and gentle oak, finishing long and smooth with lingering vanilla, brown sugar, and a touch of pleasant oak dryness.
Buffalo Trace has earned more than 30 international awards and built one of the most loyal followings in bourbon, making it a benchmark everyday sipper for newcomers and a dependable staple for experienced drinkers, whether enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or as the backbone of an Old Fashioned or Manhattan.

Common Questions
When will this ship?
Orders placed Monday through Thursday are processed and ship within 3–5 business days. Orders placed Friday through Sunday are processed the following Monday. We ship from Coronado, CA via UPS, and tracking is emailed as soon as your order leaves.
Which states do you ship to?
We ship to most US states, but not to Tennessee, US territories, or APO/FPO addresses. Enter your ZIP code at checkout and we will confirm delivery to your address before you pay. Not sure? Email support@estatesliquor.com before ordering.
Do I have to sign for delivery?
Yes. An adult 21 or older with valid government-issued ID must be present to sign. UPS will not leave alcohol unattended.
What happens if I miss the delivery?
UPS attempts delivery up to three times. If all three attempts fail, the package is returned to us and re-shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
How is the bottle packed?
Wrapped, braced, and boxed in molded inserts built for glass — the same packing whether it is a $35 bottle or a $2,000 one.
Can I return it?
All sales are final. Alcohol is a consumable product, so we cannot accept returns based on taste preference. If a bottle arrives broken or we ship the wrong item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we will replace or refund it at no cost.
What if my order is lost or damaged in transit?
Contact us within 48 hours at support@estatesliquor.com with your order number and photos. Adding shipping protection at checkout covers loss, damage, and theft, and lets us resolve it immediately rather than waiting on a UPS claim.
Can I cancel an order?
Email support@estatesliquor.com immediately and we will try to stop it before it ships. If the order has already been processed, a 10% restocking fee applies.
