About This Bottle

Bulleit 95 20 Year Cask Strength Straight Rye Whiskey is the oldest rye ever released under the Bulleit name, an ultra-limited expression released in 2026 to commemorate America's 250th anniversary. Only 1,776 individually numbered bottles were produced, a direct reference to 1776 and the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Made from Bulleit's signature 95 percent rye, 5 percent malted barley mash bill, this whiskey was distilled in Lawrenceburg, Indiana and matured a full two decades in Kentucky before bottling at natural cask strength with no dilution.

Tasting Notes

  • Nose: Fruit and cream layered with polished leather, dried fruit, clove, maple spice, soft vanilla, and deeply seasoned oak
  • Palate: Concentrated rye spice, caramelized sweetness, dark fruit, and mature oak
  • Finish: Long and complex, with lingering baking spice and seasoned wood

Combining extreme age, cask strength intensity, and exceptionally limited production, this is one of Bulleit's most collectible releases to date, best enjoyed neat in a whiskey tasting glass, or with a few drops of water added gradually to soften its considerable proof and open additional layers.
