Clase Azul Mezcal Guerrero 750ml
Clase Azul Mezcal Guerrero is the second mezcal release from Clase Azul, revealing one of Mexico's best-kept secrets: the little-explored state of Guerrero. This expression was inspired by the singularity of Guerrero's landscapes, gastronomy, art, and heritage, as well as the strength and leadership of the women of the region. Its distinctive character comes from a rare variety of agave, the papalote agave, which grows wild in the mountain ranges of Guerrero, where coastal climate meets the freshness of green forests.
Bottled at 42% ABV, this crystal-clear, full-bodied mezcal pours with light straw-colored highlights. The nose brings grapefruit skin, fresh wood, rosemary, and toasted peanuts layered with hints of butter and daisy flowers. The palate delivers fresh wood, seaweed, lemon juice, black pepper, and light notes of tobacco, reflecting the unique coastal-meets-forest terroir of the papalote agave.
Presented in Clase Azul's signature hand-painted ceramic decanter, this mezcal pairs beautifully with Serrano ham, heirloom tomato, and green olive tapenade, making it a standout for mezcal collectors and fans of Clase Azul's artisanal Mexican craftsmanship.
