About This Bottle
Crown Royal Aged 18 Years Extra Rare is the crown jewel of Crown Royal, a blend of three of the brand's most exceptional whiskies, handcrafted by the Master Blender at the Gimli, Manitoba distillery. Crown Royal traces its origins to 1939, when a local entrepreneur set out to craft a whisky fit for King George VI and Queen Elizabeth's historic cross-Canada rail journey, sampling over 600 blends before settling on the recipe that became Crown Royal. This expression draws on that same legacy, patiently aged no less than 18 years using Lake Winnipeg's limestone-filtered water and 12 distillation columns.
