About This Bottle
Don Julio 1942 Year of the Horse 2026 is a Lunar New Year limited edition honoring the Chinese Zodiac's Year of the Horse, celebrating strength, elegance, and unstoppable energy. Don Julio Gonzalez began his tequila-making journey in 1942, coincidentally also a Year of the Horse, a full circle that inspired this release's design, blending the traditional Mexican ikat rebozo pattern with the powerful symbolism of the Chinese Zodiac horse. Housed in a striking crimson and gold lacquered bottle with dynamic horse artwork, this edition contains the exact same award-winning Don Julio 1942 Anejo liquid as the standard release, just in exclusive Lunar New Year packaging.
