About This Bottle
Don Julio 70 Anejo Cristalino was created in 2012 to mark 70 years since Don Julio Gonzalez began making tequila in 1942. It was the first anejo cristalino tequila to use charcoal filtration. Made from 100% Blue Weber agave from the Highlands of Jalisco, it is twice distilled and aged 18 months in American white oak barrels that once held bourbon. It is then charcoal filtered to remove the color. The result keeps the depth and complexity of an anejo, with the crisp, bright agave character usually found in a blanco.
