About This Bottle
George Dickel Bottled in Bond Distilling Season Spring 2007 is the third release in Dickel’s vintage Bottled in Bond series and the first drawn from a spring distilling season. It followed the Fall 2005 and Fall 2008 releases, both of which were top rated and award winning. Aged 13 years and selected from barrels laid down during a single distilling season, it carries Dickel’s signature nutty, waxy fruit character, with this release standing out for its cherry notes. It is distilled and charcoal mellowed at Cascade Hollow Distilling Co. in Tullahoma, Tennessee.

Bottled in Bond is a legal standard that dates to the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. To qualify, a whiskey must come from one distilling season at a single distillery, be aged at least four years in a federally bonded warehouse, and be bottled at 100 proof. At 13 years old, this release goes well beyond that minimum.
