About This Bottle
Hess Select North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Hess Persson Estates, founded by Swiss entrepreneur Donald Hess, who began purchasing vineyards on Mount Veeder in 1978. This bottling sources fruit from Napa, Lake, and Mendocino counties across California's North Coast AVA, blending predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon with small amounts of Petite Sirah, Malbec, Merlot, Syrah, and Zinfandel for added complexity, aged in a mix of new French and American oak.
