About This Bottle
High West Bourye is a cross between bourbon whiskey and rye whiskey (Bourbon + Rye = Bourye), a limited-release blend from High West Distillery in Park City, Utah. The 2026 release marks a deliberate shift for the series, aged 10 to 19 years and bottled at a bolder 101 proof, up from the traditional 92 proof, a change High West made specifically to let the extended barrel aging shine through with no chill filtration and no added flavoring. The blend combines two MGP-sourced bourbon mash bills (75% corn/21% rye/4% malted barley, and 60% corn/36% rye/4% malted barley), MGP rye (95% rye/5% malted barley), and High West's own distillate (80% rye/20% malted rye).

High West raised it from 92 to 101 proof specifically to let the whiskey's extended decade-plus aging come through with more richness and depth.
