About This Bottle
Metaxa Grande Fine is a top expression from The House of Metaxa, the Greek spirits house founded in 1888. Metaxa is a category of its own, a smooth amber spirit that sits somewhere between brandy and liqueur. Grande Fine starts with wine distillates aged between 8 and 15 years in French Limousin oak casks. Master blenders then marry them with aged Muscat wine from the Aegean islands and a secret blend of Mediterranean botanicals, led by rose petals. The result is aromatic, floral, and lightly sweet, with the depth of long oak aging.
