About This Bottle
Midleton Very Rare Dair Ghaelach Knockrath Forest Tree No. 3 is the third release in Midleton's Virgin Irish Oak Collection, and the first modern distillery to produce a virgin Irish oak-finished single pot still whiskey. Foresters selected seven individual oak trees from the Knockrath estate in the ancient Vale of Clara, County Wicklow, where the oak has grown for more than 150 years amid mountains and lakes. Each tree was shipped to a cooperage in Spain, quarter-sawn, and air-dried for 15 months before being crafted into hogshead casks and lightly toasted. Single pot still whiskeys ranging from 13 to 26 years old, matured primarily in American ex-bourbon barrels, were then finished for two years in the resulting virgin Irish oak casks from this specific tree, one of seven that make up the full Knockrath Forest series.

Orders placed Monday through Thursday are processed and ship within 3–5 business days. Orders placed Friday through Sunday are processed the following Monday. We ship from Coronado, CA via UPS, and tracking is emailed as soon as your order leaves.

Do I have to sign for delivery?
Yes. An adult 21 or older with valid government-issued ID must be present to sign. UPS will not leave alcohol unattended.
What happens if I miss the delivery?
UPS attempts delivery up to three times. If all three attempts fail, the package is returned to us and re-shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
How is the bottle packed?

Can I return it?
All sales are final. Alcohol is a consumable product, so we cannot accept returns based on taste preference. If a bottle arrives broken or we ship the wrong item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we will replace or refund it at no cost.
What if my order is lost or damaged in transit?
Contact us within 48 hours at support@estatesliquor.com with your order number and photos. Adding shipping protection at checkout covers loss, damage, and theft, and lets us resolve it immediately rather than waiting on a UPS claim.
Can I cancel an order?
Email support@estatesliquor.com immediately and we will try to stop it before it ships. If the order has already been processed, a 10% restocking fee applies.
