About This Bottle
Mount Gay XO Triple Cask Blend is crafted by Mount Gay, the world's oldest continuously operating rum distillery, established in Barbados in 1703. First created in 1991 by Master Blender Jerry Edwards as the original XO-category rum, this expression was reformulated in 2019 under current Master Blender Trudiann Branker into a blend of pot and column still rums aged 5 to 17 years, matured across three distinct cask types: American whiskey, ex-bourbon, and Cognac barrels.
Bottled at 43% ABV, the nose brings classic Bajan richness with vanilla, brown sugar, custard, and candied marzipan, layered with roasted nuts, banana, and clove-studded orange. The palate is round, smooth, and richly creamy, delivering salted caramel, baked fig, dark chocolate, and dry spice, finishing long and nutty with prunes and warming oak char.
Home to the largest stock of aged rum in Barbados, Mount Gay built its reputation on triple-cask maturation that layers real depth and character into every bottle, making XO Triple Cask Blend a strong choice for sipping neat, over a large ice cube, or in an elevated rum cocktail like an Old Cuban or Rum Old Fashioned.

Common Questions
When will this ship?
Orders placed Monday through Thursday are processed and ship within 3–5 business days. Orders placed Friday through Sunday are processed the following Monday. We ship from Coronado, CA via UPS, and tracking is emailed as soon as your order leaves.
Which states do you ship to?
We ship to most US states, but not to Tennessee, US territories, or APO/FPO addresses. Enter your ZIP code at checkout and we will confirm delivery to your address before you pay. Not sure? Email support@estatesliquor.com before ordering.
Do I have to sign for delivery?
Yes. An adult 21 or older with valid government-issued ID must be present to sign. UPS will not leave alcohol unattended.
What happens if I miss the delivery?
UPS attempts delivery up to three times. If all three attempts fail, the package is returned to us and re-shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
How is the bottle packed?
Wrapped, braced, and boxed in molded inserts built for glass — the same packing whether it is a $35 bottle or a $2,000 one.
Can I return it?
All sales are final. Alcohol is a consumable product, so we cannot accept returns based on taste preference. If a bottle arrives broken or we ship the wrong item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we will replace or refund it at no cost.
What if my order is lost or damaged in transit?
Contact us within 48 hours at support@estatesliquor.com with your order number and photos. Adding shipping protection at checkout covers loss, damage, and theft, and lets us resolve it immediately rather than waiting on a UPS claim.
Can I cancel an order?
Email support@estatesliquor.com immediately and we will try to stop it before it ships. If the order has already been processed, a 10% restocking fee applies.
